About Us

Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Leake Connemaras have been producing Connemara ponies since 2002.   Many  of the ponies started at Leake have gone on to have successful careers at national and FEI level.  In 2021 we turned our  focus to breeding.  With a selection of top class pure bred ponies and small warmblood mares our aim is to  breed quality youngstock  with superb temperaments and trainability.

Leake youngstock have already been successful in the show ring at national level  and have been awarded certificates of merit by British breeding. Since 2021 our breeding operation has grown significantly.  We are now able to offer a range of services to mare and stallion owners.  We currently stand 3 connemara stallions and 2 non Connemara stallions.
