Woodbank Barney is  bred in the purple  with his Grandsire and Granddam coming from very strong female families, both producing Clifden winners.  His dam is a daughter of the famous mare Irishtown Beauty, a well-known Clifden Show winner.

Barney has exceptional athletic paces which he loves to show off in the dressage arena gaining scores of 65%+ at elementary and medium level.  He has an athletic and scopey jump and competes successfully  in whp and arena eventing classes.
